Vancouver Weekly Reviews Story of Burqa

Vancouver’s got a new weekly online news source: Vancouver Weekly! And they do film reviews… who knew? Check out Michaela Pontellini‘s review of Story of Burqa. I like how it points out both the strengths and possible flaws of the film… all film reviews are subjective. This is the point of documentaries – to encourage discussion.

Good News Weekly posted a write-up about my newest client’s film, Story of Burqa: Case of a Confused Afghan. This is Brishkay Ahmed‘s first feature documentary film, and very exciting that she’s able to premiere it right at home at the DOXA Documentary Film Festival on May 10th.
