Final VWIFF media: Global TV, Vancouver Courier, 24 Hours, WE Vancouver, Vancouver Sun, The Next GenerAsian, Vancouver Observer, Business in Vancouver, Schema Magazine

That’s right, you read it. I got my first client on Global TV BCRoslyn Muir of the Vancouver Women in Film Festival, and Beth Freeman, Director of the documentary Sisters in Arms.

This is my third year with the VWIFF, and although there was much more going on in 2009 with the 20th anniversary of WIFTV and the Spotlight Awards Gala, I do feel I did much more this year for the festival and it was a huge success. Katrin Bowen’s Amazon Falls was amazing – April Telek should definitely get nominated for an Oscar (yup, they’re trying).

Some nice coverage came out in the Vancouver Courier the day of the festival as well (March 4) and then Black Field‘s Danishka Esterhazy and Sara Canning appeared in Sarah Rowland’s 24 Hours column:

Instead of posting more blogs on forthcoming VWIFF coverage, I’ll keep updating them here.
